Can anyone provide their experience with the difference, if any, in the ride between the 36 and 38 open models, say vintage years 2005 to 2008? Does one model ride seas better than the other? 36 with narrower beam lighter weight has me wondering which is more suitable in 4 to 6 seas.

I have a 38, and there is significantly more room, on the 38!!!!! If you can go bigger go for it

Both great riding boats, 38 handles the slop on Lake Michigan like a champ.

I looked all last summer for a '05 to '07 36' and ended up finding an '06 38' and couldn't be happier. Bigger boat but major diff is the larger cummins engines. Go for 38' if poss.
