Looking for the best company to match factory gelcoat for 2006 open.
I see two choices Spectrm or Mini-craft?  

I also want to repaint booth stripe with perfection.  Is the prior stripe Gelcoat, one part paint or two part.  Thanks

I got gel coat from Tiara.  Matched perfect on my 2002 Open.  If I am not mistaken, your boot stripe is gelcoat.  I had mine repainted on another Tiara boat and it came out fine.

Run your finger nail over the edge of the bootstripe. If you cannot feel a seam it's gelcoat. I painted mine with 2 part Perfection and it looks Perfect 5 years later. I also used 3M gold tape for the decorative stripe and it too looks Perfect.  Capt.  George

I got some gelcoat from Mini-craft last year.  Matched as well as can be expected for a 98 boat.  Lots of options to chose form too, regular, spray and also a gel patch that is unique (good for vertical surfaces, wont run).
