Planning to have arch on my '95 31 Open refinished (peeling paint, corrosion around penetrations, fill old mounting holes) over the winter.  Has anyone had this done?  Is it just the 5 screws on each side that hold it on the boat?  Any advice appreciated.

I would guess that there is wiring in the arch for lights, speakers, radar etc.  Then the screws may be frozen due to corrosion. The removal looks like a big job and I would consider refinishing it in place. Sand it, fill the holes, prime coat it and paint it while using a step ladder and drop cloths. Just my opinion.  I have never removed one.  Capt. George

Thanks Capt. George, I appreciate the input.  Surely someone else has repainted/removed their arch.  Any Tiara reps out there monitoring the site?
