I have an older 33 open with an ice maker behind the pilot seat in the cockpit. Im sure i am not the only Tiara owner not interested in having an icemaker that uses water from the tank, so I am pulling it. Has anyone seen or created a cool use of this space after removing it. Pictures?

I lined the ex icemaker opening with starboard and build storage shelves, made a door of white plexiglass and picked up a ton of new dry storage.

There are some companies that build cabinets that fit in place of the Ice-makers. If you are not handy with fabricating, this may be the way to go. The other option is to replace the ice-maker with a Refrigerator. The Refrigerators tend to be a bit larger than the ice-makers, so you may have to enlarge the hole.

I guess I should have mentioned this. The company that we used to purchase premade cabinets for Tiaras was Happle. I believe they were out of Miami. I do not know if they are still around, but Tiara used them for OEM, so it should look factory when you are done.

dump the icemaker portion (mechanism) and use the box as a freezer only! ... bring your own ice place it in the freezer and you will always have clean ice...yum!
