Hi. New to the forum. Just purchased a 2006 Sovran 47 and noticed that the multifunction display (MFD) is providing the correct information but the display board needs replacement. Any ideas if this is a replaceable display or the entire unit needs replacing?

Are you referring to the Caterpillar engine displays?  If so, apparently they are a sealed unit that you have to replace (not a cheap date).  The red backlight on my cat displays doesn't work on the stbd motor even though in the daylight you can still read it perfectly.  I want to say it was close to $2500 for the new display.

I am refering to the display right in between that display fuel tank readings, rudder position, depth, etc. The case has a model # that reads something like: i5500
