[Mah na' Mah na']

Seems my VDO hour meters have stopped working altogether. Tach is still OK. Contacted Tiara and VDO for replacements, no luck. Anyone know where I can get the flush face mount VDO tach/hr meters for a 1999 40 express short of stealing them from another boat?? In the meantime, I have installed hour meters in the engine room that run off fuel flow, but would still like to get the meters working on the tach.

Had the same thing happen to me....had a 1999 Symbol raised pilothouse. 2 VDO's in the pilothouse and 2 on the bridge. One by one the hour meters stopped working. When I sold the boat only 1 out of 4 was still operational. I too had no luck from VDO. 1999 must of been a very bad year for VDO. Have you checked with some of the large marine salvage places?
