I have a '96 31 Open. Can anyone advise on where the holding tank in-line filter is located? I need to change this and don't recall seeing it. There seems to be very little room where the holding tank is located and am hoping that it is not behind the tank.

On my '95 it is just above and aft of the holding tank.

Look for a line that runs out of the top of the holding tank and follow it to the vent on the side of the hull. If you have a filter, it will be installed in this line and be located near the vent. Mine is tucked up near the top of the joint between the deck and hull just below the rub rail. It is installed just above the holding tank and secured with a nylon electrical wire tie to the plumbing.
