Hydraulic steering cyld leak
#1
Hi- My seastar hydraulic cylinder connected to the rudder tie bar is leaking. I have ordered seal kit and spanner wrench- I have replaced these in outboard cylds but not inboard- assume same basic procds? Thanks

Yes. Good that you ordered the spanner too. Otherwise take it to a hydraulic cylinder repair specialist.

It really should not be much different than hydraulic cylinders on the outboards. If you get into it and are over your head, just take the cylinder to a hydraulic repair facility as jongott mentioned.
