Any idea where Tiara located the AP Course Computer on this boat? I don't readily see it behind the helm, below the companionway steps or at the front of the engine room (though given the heat I would not expect to find it there). The control head is a Ray ST7001 which I believe requires a separate Course Computer located in a dry location, preferably toward the center line of the boat as low as possible.

Thank you for the suggestion. I don't find my CP in that location--just my stereo amp. But that would seem to be a very good location for it to have been.
Can you track the seatalk cable out of the control head back to the course computer? the power wires from the helm pump or the signal wires from the heading sensor will also lead to the CC
mine was mounted to a bulkhead right behind the dash/instrument cluster. Same year but different model boat ('01 43 open). Good luck.

Thanks. I will try to trace the seatalk cable out of the AP control head next time I am at the boat. The only two boxes mounted on the bulkhead behind my helm are the DSM250 for the fishfinder and the ST290 Data Processing Unit, so mine is not in the same location as yours either.

To close this out--found it very close to where tyresmoker suggested. I had to take the back of the settee itself off which exposed a panel that they were hiding behind. Below the AC panel but above the base of the settee where my stereo amp is.
