After a lot of convincing on my part, we have become Tiara owners and left our years of Sea Rays behind us. We purchased a new to us 1991 27' Tiara Sport Cruiser which gives us the amenities that we need. The feelings of comfort for him and a healthy deck for me to fish off of....yes I know the role reversal!
But reading through here many of your posts and information were already quite helpful as I bring this vessel up to my standards and replace and repair things the previous owners let go. So if you know of anyone with a shower floor drain or a porthole bezel in black I'm your gal!
Welcome Aboard! Do you have a Tiara 2700 Open (10' Beam) or a 2700 Continental with (9'6") beam? Two different 27s and we will need to know which one so we can help.
I'm not sure I have ever seen one of those. It does not show up in any of the guides. The Continental had a 9'10" beam and went out of production in 1986. The 27 Open had a 10' beam and went out of production in 1993. You may have what was once a 2700 Slikkraft which Tiara may have built under the Tiara badging.
Does it have Inboard/Outboards or Outboards? One or two engines?
It's actually a Sports Cruiser it shows up in one guide the nic guide? They are called Sovrans now. I know I had a really tough time finding it when searching earlier. There is one listing now on a website and you can try here if ours is still listed [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] second page they list it as a Skickcraft however Slickcraft stopped in 1989 with Sport Cruisers.
