Hello all! We would like to take our dog out with us and are looking for some type of a ladder to help him get out of the water and onto the back platform.....he is a 50 pound dog so if the water is deep he will be difficult to lift up onto the platform. Just wondering if other owners have found a product they like or do we need to reinvent the wheel?</p>

I have seen dog ladders, but I do not remember exactly where (West Marine Catalog or Land & Sea?). I would do an internet search and see what comes up. When we had our 80lb. Labrador (she passed away a couple of years ago from old age), I agree it was a chore to lift her in from the water. She did love to swim though. I think she had more fun on the boat than we did.
