Hi guys,

I'm going to contract for a 90 31' with Crusaders. Though I live in the Carolinas the boat will spend much of its new life in S Fla.

I will senatorial and survey next week. Any recommendations on a surveyor in the Ft Pierce to Lauderdale area?

Hi Jay good luck with the 31 I have a 98 31ft and love it. Its just perfect for the wife and I for the weekend gettaway. On survey make sure they check all the hot spots for moisture along the bottom of front window, anchor pulpit and forward deck hull, etc.

Hi Jay! I recently purchased a 27' (31'6"actual) Sport Cruiser. The most perfect boat I have ever owned! Go with a surveyor you pick not one they recommend first of all. Hope you do the test that I did, it has definitely paid off at least for me in helping me make the right purchase decision. The tests that I had done are:

Compression Test/Engine Oil Analysis
Land Survey
Sea Trial

Look online you can look up their credentialing. Are you purchasing in Florida or Carolina? Florida brokers are certified where most others are not. Hope this helps. Best wishes!

He must have auto-correct and it is turning Sea Trial into Senatorial.
