Hi all, I have a '94 31' open and I'm looking to install ac/heat. I got some info on 12,000btu webasto. Will that be adequte? And what kind of job am I looking at? I'd probably look to have someone install it for me.

Right now the boat has not ac and no gen. I dont think I need a gen now, but will need a 2nd power hookup. I'm in Boston, so will probably only need to run it dockside.

12,000 BTU is what the factory used if the Air Conditioning option was ordered. Your single 30 AMP should be enough as long as you do not plan on operating the Microwave, Cooktop, Battery Charger and the Air Conditioning all at the same time and actually a single 30 may be able to handle that. We used to operate a 35 Tiara with a 30 Y converter and run the Air (16,000 BTU), batter charger, AC refrigerator all at the same time without any issues.
