From a devoted follower of Bertrams, I was so surprised to have settled on a Tiara. I still can't believe how stable it is. Every time I disembark, the momentum rolls the 28 Bertram SF next to us side to side as if it was a runabout! The tiara doesn't move! It seems to combine a great cockpit for fishing with all the amenities for a family--with stability and class!
We purchased our 1991 31 Open 30 days ago from the orig owner with 1,100 hrs on 454 Mercs. He maintained it meticulously--teak looks new! Upgrading canvas and all elect as I write! Very impressed with the help I see others rec'ving on the forum. We hope to cruise the ChesBay up to Annapolis, down to va beach and many, many points in between as a family of four. Glad we found Tiaras and hope to move to a 40' class in the next 5 yrs.
We are excited to make Vidal Doll--and her soon new WWII nose art on the transom--a part of the family and hope to show her off in Tiara style!!
