I upgraded tv's on my last two tiaras. Wasn't a big deal to get the old tvs out and used a wall mount bracket to mount the flat planet over the cabinet opening. If I remember correctly there were some mounting screws on the underside of the cabinet that hold the tv in place.

connecting up to Bose is pretty straight forward. Audio out from tv or DVD goes to input sources for lifestyle (rca). Some of the flat panels however do not have rca audio output jacks and instead have optical audio outputs. For $15 Amazon has optical to rca converters that work perfectly. If you do this you will only need the one connection between tv and Bose. Anything showing on tv is routed out through optical to lifestyle including DVD. Hope that helps

On my 42 Open, you can access the plug in the cabinet under the cooktop.

Are you replacing the stateroom tv as well?  If so, did you find one that fit well?  It's on my list of things to do this off season...
