I have a 2004 29 open and while prepping for launch I noticed a number of green bonding wires rotted from their terminal lugs.  I replaced most to where I thought the terminal reached.  I noticed each wire had a number on it.  One wire was loose in the bilge and cannot find where it went.   Is there a wiring diagram?  Should these be tested to ensure a good bonding ground?  Assume these corrode in time.

Those wires are important as they are part of the bonding/grounding system....I would check each thru hull fitting as that is where that wire may come from.... just a thought... The bonding/grounding system is there to reduce/eliminate electrolysis.

Coming on the message well after the fact but have the same issue.  My question is where can I buy the red 6 AWG ring terminals/lugs on the ends of the green wires? Do they need to be red lugs?

Those lugs are available at any hardware store, marine store, or auto parts store.  Best to buy the heat shrink marine versions so it seals properly.

You can also use some "Liquid Electrical Tape" and paint it on all the terminal ends. I use that stuff on everything including heat shrinked wires. It is messy as hell but really works well.
I even use it to paint around the electric motors like the raw water and fishbox pumps. It makes them last much longer because it stops corrosion from getting in through the end cap seams.
