Recently purchased a 1999 3500 open and have yet to locate the battery charger . Looked under v berth, stairs, engine room , under seats , 
    Will be looking again today , trying to trace wiring .   
    I will have a good laugh when I finally locate it

Not sure if your charger is mounted in the same place as mine on a 2003 38 Open but here's where mine is. Mine is behind the settee backrest cushion/wall on the starboard side mounted to the engine room bulkhead. Remove the settee backrest and look for a removable/hinged door on the wall. Open/remove if needed and you will find the charger, at least that is where mine is mounted.... Good luck

ReelMagic.   Thanks for that information , it was 100 % correct.    Located the charger, hot water heater and additional wiring, and important water lines .
