Who has installed a Inverter on there boat , i have a 03 42' Open and would like to just run the frig and freezer during the cooler months with no Gen running through the night .

I just completed this install. Installed the promariner 2000 sinewave inverter. Pretty straight forward install. If batteries are more than 5 feet from inverter you will need to pay close attention to cable size for the dc side. I had to use 2/0 sized cable. The unit runs the fridge, freezer and cockpit unit as well as all the outlets throughout the boat. The microwave is bridged to that part of the panel as well but that is tripping the dc breaker for some reason so I need to investigate that.
