I have a (new to me) Sovran 43 (2006) and, for the life of me, can't find the waste or water monitors, could you help a newbie out on the location of these monitors ?
Hmmm. It is in the Cabin (it could be in or near the electrical panel, or it could be in the galley) and it could be a gauge, or it could be a series of lights. I think that 2006 was when Tiara was switching from one to the other. If it is the gauge, it will be black with white face and a rocker switch nearby to select water or waste. The waste sending units for these fail often as solid waste gets caught up on them. The lighting system is better from a failure standpoint as electrodes are use. The panel will be 6 lights 3 for waste and 3 for water. The 3 lights are arranged vertically. The top light for water is green and if lit means the tank is full. The bottom light for water is red and means the tank is empty or near empty. The middle light is orange and means 1/2 full. The waste side is the opposite. The top light is red and if lit means full or near full, middle light is orange for half full and bottom light is green for empty or near empty. Good luck!
Thanks, it was in/on the electrical panel, couldn't see the wood for the trees I guess, somehow I had a picture in my head that bore no resemblance to what it actually looks like !
