ID’ing Dinghy Chocks
#1
I have the (attached) tracks on my swim platform, but the previous owner did not have the chocks. We’re considering adding a dinghy and would love to know what kind of chocks to look for. If it matters, there’s a roller on the port side of my swim platform, so obviously mean for a roll-on application. Appreciate any help you all may be able to provide.

The more I’ve though about this, I had an idea...since figuring out what brand those 20 year old rails are and then trying to find chocks, what if I used what I have to improvise.

What do you all think of this idea...I’ll leave those brackets in place, and have two stainless steel tubes (running port to stbd) made to go in them similar to this:

Then with the roller already on the port side of my swim platform, I just use that to bring it up onto the boat. That make sense? Think that would work?

Try reaching out to Chockmasters. He may recognize the mounts, does a great job and can custom make chocks specific to your dinghy.
