Hi,  my airhorn makes a low dull sound when the button is pressed.  I cannot find the model etc.  would this be the compressor or actual horn?  where would I find parts?  any help would be appreciated  Thanks

I own a 2003 38 Open and have experienced similar problems over the years and determined it was the diaphragms in the horns themselves. My horns are FIAMM air horns, also known as Fultone Series Twin, model 6235112. There is a repair kit that includes new diaphragms, kit 2132311.... The root problem is the diaphragms stretch over time and the seat which the diaphragms seat on get salt on them causing the horns to sounds the way you describe.. Clean horn seats and replace diaphragms .. M2C

Thanks sounds like a diaphragm, I have searched all over cannot find the manufacturer

Take a look at the top of the horns, It covers the diaphragms and it has the manufacturer on it or at least that is where mine was

I just used some silicone to reseal the diaphragms. Take them off the top clean them up and put a light coat off silicone on the seal edge only. super easy!

I had the same problem. I replaced the diaphragms and still had it. Turns out there was a kink in the air hose as it bent right before the horn. Spliced the hose with a new piece. Problem solved.
