We have a 1988 Tiara 3300 that has had many issues. We hadn't addressed this issue because it was way down the list, but it's becoming annoying. The motor for the hatch door that covers the motors runs off of the 'house batteries'. The boat has four batteries but the two that are house batteries constantly loose power the other two are fine. All batteries are fairly new. The boat has been hooked up to electricity since we docked it and yet when we go to lift the hatch the batteries are drained once again. Does anyone have a clue what might cause this and can we fix it?
On my '86 3600, there are breakers mounted on my rear bulkhead just below the charger. Assuming you have a similar setup, one of those breakers could be tripped or have gone bad.
