Last year we bought a 4" Queen size mattress pad and cut the corners to fit. That worked great and was alot less than a new mattress. Sorry, cant help on where to buy a new mattress.

If you are near to SE Michigan you can bring your mattress to the Foam Factory. They will cut a new based on the type of foam you want.

yes i am right by the foam factory, they are very helpful, thats where i am gonna go, my only worry now is if i get a mattress pad, the 3 inch one will it stick up too much from the original boat matress and make it difficult to get in the bed/ im short, lol

When we had ours made, they "hinged" the top part of the mattress so you can fold it towards you in order to get the fitted sheet etc on... Would recommend as it makes making the bed easier...

We bought one of those foam mattress in a box things. Used the old one to cut it to fit and never looked back. Works pretty well.

We just had a real mattress made at a local mattress maker. Just like home...cost about $1500.
