I have a boat with the manuals. The wiring diagram shows two batteries with a generator fed from the starboard battery. The manual under the electrical section says that boats were delievered with 2 batteries from the factory and 3 with the optional generator installed.
My boat has 4 batteries installed!
My question is this: If you have a generator onboard your 3100 Open regardless of year, how many do you have and how is the generator fed? I am hoping to straighten mine out this season before launch.

I have two House batteries on the Starboard side, Two engine batts on the Port side. And the Generator battery is between the stringers on the front Firewall.
My 1988 33' has 3 batteries. once for each engine and one that used to start the generator. All these batteries are on separate circuits, but all were charged by the onboard battery charger.
On my 93 3100 I have 2 in parallel on port side and 1 on starboard side. Also have a generator. Ive always had to use the crossover button to start the port side ??♂️.
