I have  an 86 2700 continental  with no bow eye .has anybody installed one or know if it can be done.

You can order a bow eye online. However, is the hull strengthened for it? Look in the anchor locker and see if they did a larger piece laminated in the bow. Usually there is a much thicker flat spot that you can drill through for the installation. If not you will have to do something to build it up in that area. Time to brush up on your fiberglass skills.
