not sure if i postd in right subject area? noticed a crack in my mid bilge area, previous owner didnt do a very good repair, has anyone had this happen before and what recomendation do you have to fix properly, happy new year, thank you
Please supply some more pics of the surrounding area so we can get a better visual on exactly where this is. Looks like a floorboard that's glassed in over the keel which is not anything structural but would need to be ground back and any wet wood removed before properly repairing with fiberglass mat.

The crack appears to be in the hull as 2 thru-hull valves are in the picture. The crack may be cosmetic or in the hull which means that you may have to search for the crack on the hull exterior. If found, and the repair was not done properly, water may have infiltrated the hull coring which if wet needs to be removed for proper repairing.
