Need to change the shower sump. It’s tired.. Does anyone know if the floor in the head lifts for access. Otherwise it’s going to be hard. Jack.

They may have changed the layout in later models, but the shower sump on my ‘99 4000 is easily accessible (for a boat) under the panel just before the head/master doorway.

I had a 2000 41 Open. The sump was the same as MC1600. Right next to the forward bilge pump. Not to difficult if you are short and skinny.
Unfortunately, I am neither.

Mine is a 97 and is tucked under the floor in the head. Really hard to reach. It would be super if teak floor lifted. Thanks all for info
