Sticky vinyl and King's Starboard
#1
Just wanted to share what I did to recondition my extremely sticky vinyl.  They were so bad that if you touched them, you had to wash your hands to get the residue off.  The seats are more dull than were before but look and feel great!

1) Vigorously scrub a section down with a piece of green scotch-brite using SEM Prep Soap until stickiness is gone. The stickiness is generally shiny so you want to scrub until it looks dull.
2) Spray on SEM Vinyl Prep.
3) Spray on two coats of SEM Tac Free.  One light coat, wait a few minutes then a medium coat.  Do not touch it until it fully cures.

Super soft and smooth to the touch.  I can grab and pinch it without any stickiness what so ever.

Another great product is Chem-Set CCA6105.  If you want to permanently mount King's Starboard, this is the stuff to use.  Application is super easy but you do need to purchase the epoxy gun and tips.
