FS: 2006 Tiara 3200 Open Volvo 370hp Diesels Priced for Quick sale $135K FIRM
#1
FOR SALE: 2006 3200 Open VP D6-370hp $135K FIRM.

Looking to sell our 2006 Tiara 3200 Open to buy boat we can live on and travel the Caribbean.

  1. If you want a perfect boat, this isn’t the boat for you;

  2. If you're handy and don’t mind fixing cosmetics/minor mechanical items and paying a lot less, this might be your boat;

  3. The boat is in Puerto Rico. However, it can be moved to Fort Lauderdale for $15K.
The price is FIRM at $135K. That is the cheapest diesel 3200 open I’ve seen in the last year by about $50K.

Add $14.8K for Sevenstar to transport to Ft Lauderdale.  $150K for a Diesel 3200 in FL? That would sell in a heartbeat. I'll help with transport logistics and loading. All transport costs are responsibility of the buyer.

2006 3200 Open
VP D6-370hp w/600hrs each
Gen 1200hrs
A/C, new electronics, tournament pkg with livewell/tackle station.

Cruise speed 27-32mph depending on seas. Top speed 37-39mph. I avg just over 1.0mpg.

The Good:

Engines run great/start every time. All maintenance records since new. I have spent ~$20K on the engines alone in last year. The Port side engine was rebuilt in 2014 by the previous owner.

Stbd engine has a new fuel system and engine computer.

Port engine has a new turbo.

Newer electronics (12" Simrad GO12, Simrad autopilot, Simrad/B&G VHF with AIS receiver) and a NMEA output adapter for the VP engines (so all the engine data is available on the Simrads). ~6K spent.

VP Gauges rebuilt by Gaugesaver.

New batteries and charger

2 Renogy 100w solar panels with solar charge controller.

JL Audio speakers (six 6.5") and 10" sub, JL Audio amp and BOSS bluetooth radio.

New 19" HDTV

A/C works well

Fridge works fine

Water heater works great

The Vacuflush has been totally redone. Holds full vacuum for weeks.

New electronics and gauge panels made from acrylic with Tiara logos

Front and side vinyl curtains were replaced 1 year ago

Galley appliances all work fine (coffee maker, microwave, stove)

Cabin seating in good condition.

Dinghy cradle for a 7-8ft dinghy.

Windlass replaced 2 years ago.

Tons of spare parts for both engines and generator.

New galvanic isolator

Fuel always treated with Starbrite and Biobor

Center wiper motor, helm vent motor, and port side engine lift hydraulics have all been replaced.

Power helm seat works

Brand new shore power cords and Y cable

All cabin lights work great with LED bulbs

The not-so-good:

Port engine strainer needs reattached to the bulkhead. The bolts stripped out. It is secured but will need a new plate or marine plywood panel made.

Needs a bottom job.

Generator starts every time and provides power but has loose connection somewhere and the remote panel doesn't work. The only way to start and stop is on the gen itself. May need to be pulled and install a new wiring harness because there is not enough room to do it in the boat. Harness is only ~$150.

There is a soft spot in the hardtop. There was a leak around the VHF antenna when I bought it. It has been resealed and has not gotten worse in 2-3 years.

Port Wiper Motor broken

Boat was painted navy blue by original owner, but there are a few spots where it is fading. A few dings in the hull but all surface only. But on a blue boat they show up a bit more than white.

Windows in cabin work fine but the plexiglass is hazed, and all have some rust on screws

Faucets work fine but have some corrosion on them

Some gelcoat spider cracks in a couple of places-- near one bowrail stanchion, rear cleat, fishbox hatch. Purely cosmetic from what I can tell.

Mirror in head has some delamination around the edges

Some cockpit lights are corroded, but they work fine

Washdown/livewell pump is not working

Cockpit seating and coaming pads are in ok condition. No rips, only some wear and tear.

Teak and holly floor in cabin, and cabin steps, could both use a sand and reseal

Swim platform has had two different dinghy mounts installed before we bought it, with some not perfect patches done. Plus a gouge in one corner.

Cosmetically the blue hull is not perfect. But with a good polish and wax it will look great again. The picture in the water is when I had it buffed and waxed. It needs that done again.

There are a few rust stains where some SS screws have lost the battle with the local environment.

The jabsco spotlight was removed since they cost $700-1000 to replace and a handheld LED works better.

Hatches work fine and are water tight, but the window shade rollers need the material replaced.

Watermaker is not working.

Here is a google photos link to some pics. I also have some video of it running from a couple weeks ago.
