Thanks Rich
There are 2 Facebook groups that provide a wealth of information. I have a 4400/4700.
Depending on your port counch/seat configuration, you need to remove either the aft facing cushion or the cupholder cushion. Down in there is the stop that allows the door to open wider. Removing the fridge or freezer door is not enough. Otherwise, you will have to cut the appliance in half with a sawzall to remove it. Good luck!

Ok, thanks, that makes sense. I was wondering why the door sticks out about 4 inches into the companionway when closed. I will be out this weekend and will search for the stop. I also just joined the Tiara Owners facebook group. Appreciate the info.
Just in case others need to get the refrigerator / freezer out of the salon, this is what I did. I ended up cutting a 6 inch access hatch behind the rearward facing seat in the helm area. That allowed me to remove the door stop with a WIWA 90 degree screwdriver ratchet. Then I was able to open the hatch to 22 1/4 inches. Taking the door and door brackets off the original subzero freezer allowed me about 1/2 inch clearance and slide the freezer out of the salon so that it could be rebuilt at a refrigerator shop. I also dismantled the washer/dryer and got it out of the boat and plan to put cabinet shelves in that area to increase the limited kitchen storage. If anyone needs pics of the cutout let me know. I basically purchased a 6 inch access cover and purchased a 6 inch Carbide Hole Saw Bit (Match to cover, but I think it was 6/1/4 inch hole saw) to cut the hole in the fiberglass. Was nervous about it all, but it was actually pretty easy to cut the hole in the fiberglass and install the access cover after the job.
