I purchased a 3500 Express last year and found no air blowing at the helm. In the spring I found the ducting hose was off at the vent. Reattached and air was blowing. This summer the blowing air is hot and has a bilge smell. Would there be another duck hose not attached to the blower that would go the A/C and where would that be? Also, where is the blower located? Please I need cool air.

With AC issues, always start with the strainer.

The strainers fine, plenty of water flow. The two A/C onboard are working. No cold air blowing out of helm vent only hot air Blowing.

Sounds like the vent hose came off somewhere in the engine room and it is pulling from there. My old 41 had the same feature and it was pulling from the galley area and onto the bridge. Follow the vent hose backwards. It is going to be on the suction side of the blower.
