I am looking at 3200 open's 2005 to 2007. Many of them come with the Volvo D6 I have seen one with the Cummins but that one is under deposit. Anyone have any experience with the Volvo D6's?
I have only had Cats. If you want to o ow everything you e er wondered get a membership.at boatdiesel.com. it is a small fee but those guys are absolutely the best for diesel advice.
Agree with sans about BoatDiesel but I’ll also caution you to take any opinion with a grain of salt. According to some, my 3208 is either hot trash or will last forever if cared for. So far, I’ve not had a single issue with the old girls.

Thanks guys. MC1600 I completely agree. Just like everything else. If well taken care of odds are the engine will take care of you. The biggest issue I have found with the Volvo's is supposedly parts are harder to come by. An acquaintance of mine is a diesel mechanic on heavy construction. He loves the Volvo's. He said look around at construction sites and tell me how many Volvo's you see. Well I have seen many in the last few days
