We learned a lot in the past months on the forum and appreciate every thing we learned.  We upgraded from a Whaler Conquest.  Today we became the new owners of a 2000 3500 Express.  The boat has been Great Lakes freshwater since new.  The surveyor said we are essentially buying a near new boat.  It has twin Cummins with 850 hours, Westerbeke is at 250 hours and the factory hardtop.  We wanted the B plan but it was too good otherwise to not purchase.  Being in the oil business, I ran oil samples with particle counts on the engines, generator and trans.  The results were excellent.  Amsoil synthetic since 2015.  It has a hand written log and receipts.  It should be on the Ohio River tomorrow.
