Yep.. I have a 2003 38 Open and installed 3 on each side.... 2 in each of the gunnels and 1 each mid way up on the rear portion of the cabin top. Used 3M 5200 to seal the exposed balsa on the gunnels and on each screw used..... faced the rear ones straight back and the forward ones at an angle so the rods face somewhat out (approx 30 degrees outboard)....
