Crusader 502XLI ECM Harness 10 Amp Circuit Breaker tripping
#1
New here and looking for some help. 1998 Tiara 3500 Express with Crusader 502 XLI's. After running for around 25-30 minutes Strbd motor will shut down while running regardless of RPM. (in most instances 2900-3400RPM). Water temps and oil pressure all indicate normal. Discovered 10 amp ECM harness circuit breaker on engine had tripped. Reset breaker and all works as it should. Once back up to normal operating temps breaker continues to trip after 25-minutes (or so) running. Replaced ECM harness circuit breaker and the problem persists. Replaced ignition control module and still experiencing the same problem. Not sure where to go from here. In order to get the boat back in the dock I have to reset the breaker so I have the use of both motors, but that makes it so it can't be troubleshot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I believe it's heat related whatever may be causing the breaker to trip, but there's nothing indicating any kind of overheat issue. Is it possible the ignition relay could cause this? Thanks for any and all help!
