Having the outdoor aft cushions reupholstered on a 2013 Tiara Sovran 45. I’ve managed to remove them all except the back cushions furthest aft as I can’t seem to access the backside of the fiberglass to unscrew the bolts securing them. How do I do this?
It looks like there is a removable panel in the back of the storage compartment below the seat but it is sealed so I don’t want to cut the sealant to remove if this is not the correct access point. Other option could be to remove wood panel in large storage locker on transom but there’s wiring/electronics mounted to that so guessing that’s not the spot?
Any help is much appreciated! Thanks

Does anyone have a preflight checklist when starting a 2000 31 open
I come from Aviation background use to checklists but new to this boat, I’ve only had small outboards
I’m looking for a step by step checklist for start up

I have a 1998 Tiarra 3100 and would like to upgrade my inverter/battery charger since I want to replace my lead acid house batteries with Lifepo batteries. I will also update my Voltage regulator from the Balmar ATS-5 on my starboard engine to the Wakespeed WS500, The Tiarra is setup so that the starboard alternator charges the house batteries and the port engine charges the starter batteries.
My issue is that as you can see from the above pictures, the existing inverter is a Heart Freedom 2000 and a Charles C-Charge are behind the wood bulkhead on the interior of the starboard panel. It looks like I can remove the lower teak panel which you can see is two pieces behind the upholstery piping. I can see several screws inside this space where this panel connects to the seat frame and to the side structure.
My questions to the forum are:
1) Does it seem practical that I can remove this panel to access the Heart inverter?
2) Can the Inverter be removed without removing this panel?
3) Leave the current inverter and replace the battery charger and just add a DC-DC converter to control the charge on the Lifepo house battery
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Peter

Hello,
We're based in Delray Beach, Florida, and we've been proud Tiara owners for over 25 years.
Today, we're thrilled to be on our fourth (and favorite yet!) Tiara — a 39' Coronet with twin 550HP straight-shaft Cummins engines.

Hatch opens right up, but trips if I lower it for more that about 2 seconds at a time. I can see voltage drop down to like 4-6 volts when I try to lower it. The horn is the next switch over, voltage will drop to 4-6 volts if I honk it. Is there a common ground for the row of switches? Would it just be corrosion on a grownd connection? Why does the hatch not drop voltage when raised, but does when going down? I tried swapping the switch, that didn't change anything. Replaced the hatch motor as well, that didn't change anything.

I have been looking for a 36 foot open. I see several coronets online. when new was the coronet more expensive?
on the resale market are the opens more expensive ?(less boats available)
what would be a current price for a 2012-2013 36 open with low hours.

Looking for a 3600 Open with Cummins QSB/C. I live in the Pacific Northwest. Not looking for a project, hopefully well preserved and maintained.

Looking for a set of the diesel exhaust flanges for my 2001 35 open, that are screwed on with three screws at each side back waterline.
Was shocked that Tiara could not offer these due to age
Anyone have any idea where I might find these?
This boat is new to me, and very surprised Tiara dose not offer parts any longer for such an expensive boat...
thanks

Hi all. One of my fuel tank gauges is stuck on empty. I’m a little leary about trying to force the screws to remove it. Are they available? It has the manual gauge on the sender as well as wiring to the dash. Seems the float is stuck or no longer floats.
