ABYC to create marine technology curriculum

The American Boat and Yacht Council Foundation has been awarded a grant from the Kathy and Jerry Wood Foundation to create the first industry-accepted marine technology curriculum. The grant, along with donations from Yamaha and MarineMax, will allow the foundation to offer the curriculum at minimal cost to schools in need and feed trained students

Hi, I am in the process of purchasing a 1994 4000 Express. Hull survey and Engine survey to take place, soon. I boat in the North East out of RI and enjoy Block Island, The Cape and The Islands, and the Eastern End of Long Island NY. First time w/ a Tiara but a long time boat owner. Wooden Trojans', Pacemaker, and glass Hatteras and Silvertons'. First diesel boat, but being a retired "Fleet Manager" know my way around the engine room. Looking forward to all I can learn from this group. Thank You.
