We have a 2000 31 Open & had a small canvas barrier made (approx 24" x 48") & the canvas guy installed snaps inside the door so that we snap it in place overnight.

I did a similar thing on my 38 Open.... On the inside of the screen door I made a black sunbrella cover (approx 18"x24") with pockets on top & bottom that holds 1/4" dowels. The cover on top starts at the curve and ends at the bottom of the screen door. I Drilled 1/4" holes on the inside of the screen door at the top,by the curve on either side), and at the bottom (on either side) to allow the dowels to go into the screen door.... Works for me and even lets air flow in on the top of the screen...M2C
