Port charges house or port charges starting batteries

I have a 2002 31 Open and I cannot remember which engine charges which bank of batteries. Can anyone remind me? Thanks

I'm pretty sure it is for your boat as well. The easy way to confirm is to place a volt meter on your house battery and start the port motor and increase rpms to above 1500. You should see the volt meter increase in voltage, most likely to 14.4v. If you have a parallel switch connecting your house and starting battery, make sure the two batteries are not connected thru the switch during the test.
