Does anyone have any advice on how to fix a weeping windshield sprayer - mine seem to have a small amount of water that comes out quite often. I took one apart and could not detect any issues.

The windshield washer system on my 2003 38 open utilizes the fresh water system and is controlled by a solenoid in the engine room allowing water to squirt from the 3 orifices by the windshield . I suspect the solenoid is not closing completely when in the normal (closed) position. Mine has a small filter to ensure dirt doesn't clog the solenoid itself and suspect that's your problem. The solenoid is located on the forward engine room bulkhead, starboard side.

I bought rebuild kits for all three solenoids. Sounds like the diaphragms are deteriorating. Removed and repaired all three and they’re working like new.
