2001 40 Express: the windshield washer squirts water onto each of the 3 windshield sections. Boat was in storage for one year. When I fired everything up, the washer will not stop, & the switch is not working to start it or end the wash. The main water pump keeps running because it needs to continually supply the washer. Is there a solenoid on the washer circuit that might be going bad? Any idea where that solenoid is, or how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance.

In my 2003 38 Open the windshield washer gets the water from the fresh water system through a solenoid. Mine is mounter on the forward engine room fire wall on the starboard side. Not sure where it is on the 40 express... Mine suck after the winter store one year and all I did was tap it (lightly) M2C
