Running 1996 Tiara 29 Open with Crusader 454 XLI's. Went out today and after about 10 mins. starboard engine cut out, just under crusing speed. Won't restart, cranks but no start. Put a spare cap and rotor on, no help. One thing I noticed is was when I turn the key to start there is no Beep Beep and the alt red indicator doesn't light. Any thoughts. Thanks

Ignition relay Part # 98175 I believe. Should be located in a black box on the starboard side of each motor, near the front.  Black box should have a couple red circuit breaker reset buttons visible on the exterior.  Open the box and there are a couple relays in there.  Ignition relay costs approximately $25, buy two.  I replaced four of these relays over the course of ten years.  If you are in a pinch and cannot locate the Crusader part quickly, I believe the same part was used as a turn signal flash unit on Pontiac automobiles.  Bob

Thank you RMS, I know the box, I have had to reset them 2 or 3 times in the last 14 years, but never looked inside. None of them were tripped when I checked. I'll check it out, so they can go bad?

Yes, the relays go bad and without any warning.  Bob

Thank you RMS, Changed out the ignition relay and it started right up. I now carry a spare. Bob
