Have 2005 Model Crusader 8.1L engines on 1989 Tiara 3300 Open purchased May, 2013.
Recently had mechanic change all engine/transmission fluids & fuel filters after 50 hours use.
Mechanic could not locate the FCC filter on engines. Maintenance manual recommends filter change 1x/year.
I cannot find any mention in the maintenance history from the previous owners from 2005 to present that the
filters have been changed.
Can any owner of Crusaders share experience on the best practice for changing the FCC filter, how often, location and if
I need to make this a major maintenance priority? Thank you in advance!

How often you change your filters is a function of hours of use and fuel quality. Always carry a spare and read the directions carefully. You are working on a high pressure system. Follow Chris advice in the earlier post about Risers and Manifolds. VERY IMPORTANT. It is no longer like the old carburetor/fuel bowl filter change. Capt. George
