I have a 2004 29 open with 5.7 crusaders. Anyone have an issue changing the gas filters. I have the original spin off canisters that house the fuel pump and filters. Can not get them off. This winter I will have to take off entire system from engine and attempt to put in vise and spin off. Concerned about damaging the canister . Any hints?

Are you using an oil filter wrench to get it loose? I've never had one I couldn't get off.

If you have a wrench on them try twisting as hard as possible and hold it for 20-30 seconds often filters begin to slowly lose there grip. I've had this approach work countless times. It's all about getting the rubber seal to let go and it just takes time.

Make sure you have the wrench all the way at the top of the filter. And remember righty tighty, lefty loosy. Constant pressure at the top till it breaks loose.

I will try again but afraid I will damage the canister. I may remove form bracket and put in a vise to try to free it...

If your using the oil filter wrench which is a band, you shouldn't damage the filter. If its got teeth and can crush the filter, go buy a band style one.
