Hello Sages
My Onan diesel generator shuts off when my fuel tank(s) get down to 1/4 full. Is there a way to disable the shut off? I still have plenty of fuel (for my purposes) at that time and still want the generator to run. 2005 3800 Open with Cummins.

[Misdirection]

The generator fuel line pick up tube in the gas tank is shorter than the fuel line pick up tube for the motors. This is by design so that the generator can not cause you to run out of fuel. The simpliest solution is to carry more fuel.

Carry more fuel or pull the top of the tank and see if you can put a fuel line on the bottom of the pickup to extend the length.

I would just carry more fuel.
