Hi,
I own a 1993 Tiara 2700. The motor boxes, which incorporate the helm seat and the passenger seat are hinged and lift up with the help of gas struts.

This system really hinders access to the motors.

The earlier 2700s have sliding motor boxes, which provide much better access to the whole motor.

Has anyone swapped them out? Where and how can I get my hands on the earlier sliding boxes?
