Hi Sluggo, I had a similar issue on my 2000 3500 Express. I had my boat yard just replace the whole Maxwell motor. $570.00 including labor with parts and labor warranty. Money well spent.

thanks for the information, turns out after further inspection, the terminals on the switches were dirty, all good now for me!! Where on the Ohio river are you? I am in Huntington, wv mm 305.1

Sluggo, we're at Four Seasons Marina in Cincinnati. We're having a cockpit camper back with screens installed and should be in the water next week.
