That's great information. I could not find a source. The original knobs looked exactly like the DAVIES model and were 1-1/4" diameter with a 5/16-18 female brass insert. They were 3/4 " high. Just add a 5/16-18 stainless rod cut to the desired length and put some Loc-tite on the threads going into the knob.  Capt.  George

I've got this same problem. Have the seats, don't have the hardware that bolts them down.  Was planning to just go to ace to get bolts and washers, and was thinking about just using wing nuts for "tool-free" on and off.  Only thing i was wondering...was the original installation "water tight?" Obviously it's not going to leak a ton of water but it certainly won't be water-tight with just a nut and bolt installation.

I'm not worried so much about water dripping down into the bilge - more in any moisture damage to the deck from the hole being constantly "wet."

If you search on the web or eBay look for 6CXY8  or 3008BG. Both numbers will get you the knob.

On my 31 Open the deck was fitted with an aluminum block in the fiberglass that was drilled and tapped to 5/16-18. Unfortunately Tiara used a poor choice of aluminum that corroded big time and caused the fiberglass deck to bulge up.

If you drill into the deck you MUST seal the hole against water getting to the balsa core.

interesting...mine does show signs of "bulging" around those locations.  thanks for the heads-up.

Did you find these seats. I have this exact set out of my 3100 open. Brand new. Upholstery and wood. Would consider selling as I do not use them... 607.426.5919 we are strictly a fishing boat.
