Does anyone know where we can get the shower curtain for our shower? We'd like the factory style, trying to keep it to original specs
the 50A glendinning cable master shore power core has a break in it. The owners manual that came with the boat doesn't have the model or part number for a replacement. would anyone know the model and part number for the replacement 50A cord?
first night on the boat. went for a walk and left the cabin light on. when i came back i noticed you can see right in thru the plexiglass door. during the day you can't see in, but at night its like the door was open. we don't have cockpit canvas, or aft curtains. before i cobble something up, i'm wondering if there's something others have done to get privacy in the cabin at night?
we'd like to put a tv in the master. any recommendations on how to secure the tv so we don't lose it when running?
I am assuming you have the cable master setup....we replaced our white 50A cable....I would suggest contacting Glendinning directly and they should be able to help you out. PS: we salvaged 25 feet of the old cable and simply had the shop add a female connector to the cord to carry as an extension.....Simple solution on the plexiglass would be to install marine fabric with 4 snaps secured to the metal door frame....easy on, easy off. good luck

To make the cabin private at night I added a removable cover to the inside of the screen door itself. Made a piece of black Sunbrella canvas (any material you can't see through would work as well) cut to fit the inside of the vertical portion of the screen door (it's approx 18" wide x 24" high), w/2 pockets for wood dowels (1/4") to fit into (top & bottom).. Made 1/4" holes on the inside top & bottom on the vertical frames of the screen door that the wood dowels can go into holding the Sunbrella canvas making a shade... Been that way for 10+ years and works great, screen still functional letting air into the boat (top portion of screen) without making any permanent change or damage to the boat itself. May sound complicated and can take picture to make it easier to understand if needed. Let me know if you want a photo.. M2C.. BTW you can leave the cover on the door and it will still slide since it doesn't interfere at all.

Thanks both for the tip. No screen door tho. Thinking of using some velcro on the door frame, and some fabric with velcro just to block the view at night. boy, a screen door would be nice... wonder if its tucked into the door frame somewhere. going back tomorrow to work on the punchlist and will check it out.
thanks
Forgot to ask. Does anyone know where to get a copy of the cabin key? no one, and i mean no locksmith up in my area can find a blank to work. none of their computers even recognize the key. i'll be down in Ct. tomorrow and will try some locksmith's down there, but am not hopeful. its a simple key too (double sided tho), I don't understand why its so difficult for this key. they were able to dup my engine keys, but those are simple 1 sided keys.

Not sure if your key is the same as the one on my 2003 38 Open but mine are made by SouthCo... Here's a link to a supplier for those keys - [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

Thanks. Just heard back from Tiara, they have keys available so ordered 2 of them. Slowly working down the punchlist. Fixed a couple of things, and something else breaks. 21 year old boat, to be expected.
