Tiara Parts/customer service/tech support

The last few times I have contacted them, it's been several days before they got back to me. That's pretty poor response time in my estimation....especially for a first class operation like Tiara. I called them last Wednesday and have not heard back from them yet!

Hmmm, usually they are quicker than that. What are you trying to find? Sometime calling your local Tiara Dealer may yield quicker results. If it is a non Tiara manufactured part, it may be easier to go direct to the manufacturer of the part. If you let me know what you are looking for, I may be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi Chris...I am looking for another light fixture used on the companionway steps. The contacts have been broken off.

Mark,

You have a 2002 Tiara 38 Open correct? Can you look on light fixture itself to see who manufactures it? If you can get a manufacturer and a model number off the light, you should be able to look it up on-line. I have a 2007 here in the yard I can look at. I think they are same light. When I go down to the boat later today, I'll look at the light and look it up. Parts like these are best sourced on-line. Tiara no longer builds the 38 and all new boats use LED lights, so they are likely different models and manufacturers.

I have a 2003 42 Open and too have broken contacts on the back of the lights going down the stairs. I don't remember seeing a company name on them, so I am too interested in finding out info.

Ill go look at the lights on the 38 as I believe the 38 and 42 used the same light fixtures for the stair way courtesy lights.

Hi Chris....I looked at the fixture, but cannot make out any info. They are round and about 1 1/2 diameter. Looks like the same light as on the bridge deck....at deck level, not the overhead lights

Thanks, Mark

I have a 2001 3800 and broke the contacts on the back of the courtesy lights on the salon step faces also. They are Cantalupi (Italian) Rondetto lights. No longer made. A reoccurring problem with my boat; obsolete parts that are unavailable. I repaired them as follows:

1. Remove fixture and bulb.
2. Remove bulb holding clips. (Metal bulb holders that had tabs sticking out the rear of fixture.
3. Drill small hole (just large enough to fit 16-18 ga wire through) in retaining clip slots.
4. Feed short length of wire through hole.
5. Solder wires to clips.
6. Pull wires back and re-seat clips in fixture.
7. Solder connector to wires.
8. Re-install fixture to step face.
9. Plug connector in #7 above to receptacle that originally connected to broken tabs on back of light.

Simple fix. Took me about 10 minutes per light to do.
